Terms of use
The rules for using Qufy on the web and in the Mac app during the invite-only beta.
In short
- Qufy is run by GRW Lab and is free during the beta. You must be 18 or older to have an account.
- You own what you write; we use it only to run the service, and that ends when you delete it.
- A signature on a Qufy link is an electronic acceptance, not a qualified e-signature.
- The service is provided as is. Our liability is capped at the greater of what you paid in the last 12 months or USD 100.
- Material changes are emailed to you and accepted at your next sign-in. Egyptian law applies.

Agreement
Qufy is run by GRW Lab (hello@qufy.app, https://grwlab.net). By using Qufy you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the Mac app. These terms are a licence to use the service, not a professional-services contract with you.
The service
Qufy provides calculators, document templates, a time tracker, and a workspace for freelancers, on the web and in a Mac app. The tools work without an account. Qufy is in a closed beta: accounts are by personal invite, and Qufy is free during the beta. Features can change, pause, or be withdrawn.
The Mac app
The Qufy Mac app is part of the service, and these terms and the privacy policy cover it. It signs in to your account with a code you confirm on the website, keeps its session in the Mac’s keychain, and syncs your projects and hours with your workspace. Download it only from the Qufy website.
Your use
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the numbers, names, tax figures, and clauses you send to clients. You must have the right to paste briefs and client details into the tools.
Do not abuse the service: no spam, no fraud, no illegal content, no scraping that harms the host, no malware, and no attempts to access other people’s accounts or share links.
Accounts
You must provide a real email you control. Keep your password to yourself. Invite links are personal: they work once, only for the invited email, until their end date. You must confirm your email address before Qufy will email links to your clients.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that is used for spam, fraud, or illegal content, or that looks compromised. Where possible, we will tell you by email first and explain why.
Links and electronic signatures
A share link is as public as the people you send it to; treat it like a document in an email. A link stops working after 14 days or when you turn it off. “I’ve paid” on an invoice link is the client’s statement, not proof of payment.
Signing a contract on a Qufy link is an electronic acceptance: Qufy records the name the client typed, the time, and the IP address. It is not a qualified electronic signature, and it may not be enough for every kind of contract.
Your content and ours
Qufy, the site design, and our copy stay ours. You keep the content you put into Qufy (rates, invoices, contracts, logos).
You give us a licence to store, copy, and display that content only to run the service for you: saving it, making PDFs, sending the emails you ask for, and serving your client links. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which are replaced within about 6 months.
No professional advice
Rates, tax presets, ZATCA checklists, AI suggestions, and contract packs are guidance. They are not legal, tax, accounting, or compliance advice, and they are not a certified e-invoice. Read the disclaimer page.
As is, as available
Qufy is provided “as is” and “as available”. Hosting, email, the assistant, or market-data feeds can fail. Download the PDFs you need, and keep your own copies; do not rely on Qufy as your only archive.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Qufy is not liable for lost fees, lost clients, tax penalties, or disputes that arise from a number, PDF, or clause you chose to send. If we are nevertheless found liable, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Qufy in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
The date at the top is the current version. If we make a material change, we will email account holders before it applies and ask you to accept the new terms the next time you sign in. Smaller changes, such as clearer wording, only update the date.
