The Qufy rate index

An opt-in way to share your rates anonymously, so Qufy can one day show real rates for your profession and country.

Steps

    Open Settings and choose “Business”.

    Choose “Your profession” and “Where you work”, so your rows count in the right group.

    Under “Help build the Qufy rate index: share my rates anonymously”, choose “Share anonymously” (or “No thanks”) and press “Save changes”. “Finish setting up”, beside Home and Settings, asks the same question.

Good to know

  • Nothing is shared until you choose “Share anonymously”. While it is chosen, each quote you send, each hourly rate you save (on a project, or as your default rate), and each new or changed monthly retainer fee adds one row.
  • A row holds only your profession, country, currency, pricing model (hourly, per project, or monthly retainer), the hourly rate, the total, or the monthly fee, and the month. Never your name, email, clients, document titles, notes, or the exact day.
  • Rows are kept apart from your account, with no link back to it. Choose “No thanks” to stop sharing at once; you can change your answer at any time. Rows already shared cannot be traced back to you, so they cannot be found or removed for one person.
  • Nothing from the index is shown yet. Rates will appear only for a country and profession with enough rows, so no one person's rate can be picked out.
