Before you start
- Qufy must be running (the Q is in the menu bar) and connected to your account.
Steps
- 1
Press Control+Option+T (⌃⌥T) in any app to start the timer on your last project.
- 2
Press Control+Option+T again to stop it and save the session.
Good to know
- The shortcut works in every app, and Qufy stays in the background; the window does not open.
- If a timer is running or paused, the shortcut stops it. Stopping follows the usual rule: under a minute of work is not saved.
- If no timer is running, it starts the last project you used. If that project is gone or has no hourly rate, the window opens with the project list so you can pick one.
- The shortcut is fixed. It cannot be changed in the app. Settings shows it under "Keyboard shortcut", and the menu-bar panel shows it as a reminder: "⌃⌥T starts or stops".
- There is no shortcut for pause. Use "Pause" in the panel, the window or a widget.
If something goes wrong
- “Nothing happens when I press Control+Option+T.”
- Check that Qufy is running and connected. If another app already uses Control+Option+T, the shortcut may not work; use the panel or a widget instead.
