Before you start
- Set your country in Settings, Business: the NDA names that country's law.
Steps
- 1
Choose “New NDA” from the New menu, from a client's or a project's menu, or choose “NDA · one-way” in “Start from a template” in a contract.
- 2
Under “Type of NDA”, choose “One-way” (the client shares information with you) or “Mutual” (you both share).
- 3
Fill in the client, the “Purpose”, and the “Effective date”. An NDA has no amount, payment terms, or deposit.
- 4
Read every clause and fill each [placeholder], such as the duration and the city whose courts decide a dispute. Add clauses from the “NDA” topic with “Add clause”.
- 5
Choose “Send”. The client reads it on a link, can choose “Request changes”, and signs with “Sign contract”. You sign it too, from the same page.
Good to know
- An NDA gets its own number, such as NDA-2026-001, and versions, both signatures, the signing record, the verify page, and the View online QR work as they do for a contract.
- It shows as “NDA” in the project's and the client's documents. A signed NDA never makes a project “Contracted” and never counts as the agreement for a deposit or balance.
- The wording is Qufy's general draft in English and Arabic, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before you rely on it.
