Before you start
- Removing the app does not touch your Qufy account. Your projects, sessions, and documents stay on the website.
Steps
- 1
Right-click the Q in the menu bar and untick “Open when the Mac starts” (just above “Quit Qufy”).
- 2
Sign out in the app: press your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose “Sign out”. This removes your sign-in from the Keychain.
- 3
Right-click the Q and choose “Quit Qufy”.
- 4
Remove any Qufy widgets: right-click each one and choose to remove it.
- 5
Drag Qufy from your Applications folder to the Trash.
- 6
In Finder, choose Go, then Go to Folder, and delete these folders: ~/Library/Application Support/studio.qufy.desktop, ~/Library/Logs/studio.qufy.desktop, ~/Library/Caches/studio.qufy.desktop, and ~/Library/WebKit/studio.qufy.desktop.
Good to know
- If you deleted the app without signing out first, open Keychain Access, search for studio.qufy.desktop, and delete the item whose account is session.
- Also sign the Mac out on the website: in Settings, choose “Mac app”, and press “Sign out” on the “Qufy for Mac” row.
- Actions still waiting to sync are lost when you delete the Application Support folder. Go online and let them sync before you remove the app.
