Before you start
- The quote is saved to your account, and the client accepted it on its link.
Steps
- 1
Open “Documents”, then open the accepted quote.
- 2
Press “Create contract”. The contract page opens with the details filled in.

- 3
Check the scope, the start date, and the amount, then choose the clauses.
- 4
Or, to invoice the work, press “Turn into invoice” on the quote's page. A new invoice opens with the quote's client and lines, and the quote stays as it is.
Good to know
- The contract gets your name and email, the client's name, email, and WhatsApp, the total, the currency, the quote's date as the start date, and the project.
- The scope is built from the lines: each line becomes one row starting with “- ”. A single line is used as it is. If the document already has a written scope, that scope is used instead.
- “Turn into invoice” shows only while nothing on the quote's project has been invoiced yet. In the Documents list, the same accepted quote has “Turn into invoice” as its row action, and “Create contract” in its “More” menu.
- In the quote editor (“Edit in tool”), an accepted quote shows “Quote accepted” at the top with “Turn into invoice”. There it changes this same document into a draft invoice: it keeps its lines, keeps its quote number on record, and gets an invoice number when you send it.
- “Create contract” is also in the editor's “More” menu for any complete quote, not only after acceptance. Invoices do not offer it.
- Until a contract exists, Needs you on Home shows “Quote accepted, no contract yet” with “Create contract”.
If something goes wrong
- ““Create contract” is greyed out in the “More” menu.”
- It works when the quote has your name and email, the client name, a description on every line, and at least one priced line. Fill in what is missing.
